Iris sibirica: Also known as the  Siberian flag, this is a perennial that grows effortlessly and has minimal soil requirements. This lush bloomer surpasses Iris germanica (bearded iris) with a more abundant and longer-lasting flowering period. Reaching a height of 80 cm, Iris sibirica adds beauty and low-maintenance charm to the garden. Suitable for zones 5–8.

Care Instructions:

Iris sibirica is supplied as a rhizome with roots and should be planted in the garden immediately upon receipt. 

It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is not particular about soil type. Plant it in a mixed border among other perennials, or alternatively, in the marsh area of a pond.

Iris sibirica is highly hardy and requires no special care. Applying organic fertilizer to the garden twice a year is sufficient for it.
