Iris sibirica is supplied as a rhizome with roots and should be planted in the garden immediately upon receipt.
It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is not particular about soil type. Plant it in a mixed border among other perennials, or alternatively, in the marsh area of a pond.
Iris sibirica is highly hardy and requires no special care. Applying organic fertilizer to the garden twice a year is sufficient for it.
