The sale of summer flowering bulbs ends on the 20th of May. 

From June, spring-flowering bulbous and tuberous plants, including our large assortment of tulips and daffodils, will be available to order again.

EU-VAT-Directives: Due to EU VAT guidelines, the VAT rate of the country of destination must be calculated. If you order from outside the Netherlands, this will affect the total price of your order.

Hippeastrum

Hippeastrum (Amaryllis). Available from the end of September.

Plant the bulb halfway into the soil. Use a large pot with a drainage hole. For development of the stem, warmth is especially important, therefore it is best to keep it at room temperature. Needs little water until the stem emerges. Once the bud and the leaf appears, the amaryllis needs to be watered daily. In winter, it takes about 6 to 10 weeks after potting up before it comes into bloom.
